    VFS Global is a commercial company, working in partnership with UK Border Agency at the British High Commission here in Singapore providing services to help people apply for a visa to enter the UK.


  • How Can We Help You?

    You will find information on this website, supplied by UK Border Agency, about how to apply for a visa to the UK, if you need one. From this site you can also use our free email service to obtain the same information. We also offer a telephone information service. Details about how to contact us can be found on the 'contact us' page of the website.

    VFS manages the visa application centre for the UK Border Agency here in Singapore, where you should submit your visa application, supporting documents, biometric data and pay your visa application fee. The address details of the visa application centre can also be found in the 'Contact Us' section of this website.

  • Where Can I Get Advice?

    VFS Global and its staff cannot give you advice on how to complete your application, or what type of visa you should apply for. If you need help with your application or advice about the UK's immigration rules and requirements, you should seek advice from a qualified immigration adviser. In the UK immigration advisers regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC - www.oisc.gov.uk).

    You can also obtain advice from legally qualified professionals regulated by designated professional bodies. A list of legally qualified professionals who can advise on immigration matters can be downloaded from the following websites:

    Institute of Legal Executives

    Please note: The Law Societies of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Institute of Legal Executives cannot provide direct help or advice on visa applications. They can only provide a list of law firms who can advise on immigration matters.


  • Who Decides If I Will Get A Visa?

    Your visa application will be processed and decided by UK Border Agency staff. Your documents and passport will be forwarded by commercial courier to the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, where the application will be processed and a decision taken. This will not change the application process for customers in Singapore who should continue to apply at the visa application centre at Robinson Road. Should an interview be needed, this will take place with UK Border Agency staff at the British High Commission in Singapore. Applicants will not be required to travel to Kuala Lumpur.

    VFS staff do not play any part in or influence the outcome of your visa application. If any member of our staff claims to be able to influence your application, you should inform the nearest British diplomatic mission as soon as possible.
