- Important note:
For visitors
If you are a Singaporean passport holder going to the
UK for less then 6 months, you do not need to apply for a visit
visa or student visit visa unless you have had any previous
immigration problems. You will still need to satisfy the immigration
officer upon arrival in the UK that you are a genuine visitor.
Other visa applications
Someone seeking admission for a purpose other than a visit
must apply to the UK visa application centre in the country
where they are living, or to visa application centre designated
to accept applications on its behalf. If you are a third country
national with a long term Singaporean visa, then you can make
your application in Singapore. There may be some delay in processing
your application if the UK Border Agency needs to refer any
of your documents to your country of origin or habitual residence.
