Visa Fees Visa application fees are payable in cash for each applicant. The visa application centre will not charge you a service fee for taking your application or for providing guidance on documentation. This is included in the relevant visa fee. No charges other than the visa application fee and the courier charges (if applicable) are payable. If anyone should ask you for any money other than the visa fee or the courier charge please report them immediately to the VFS visa application centre manager, or the visa officer at the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission. Please ensure you obtain an official receipt for all payments made. Important: Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. Fees are payable in Cash and in Singapore Dollars only and are subject to periodic review. Refunds: The visa application fee reflects the administrative costs of processing an application and is not refundable if your application is refused. The visa application fee is only refundable if your visa application is withdrawn in writing prior to any processing of the application and biometrics has not been taken. Refunds will not be given if long term visit visas are granted for less than the period applied for. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 19 May 2010. The consular rate of exchange is SG$2.15 to £1. Please note the visa fees are subject to change.
